Okay, I somehow recorded my Sat and Sun food each a day in advance so.... I will put my food intake here in the journal for today.

Breakfast, ate out with friends:
2 poached eggs, 1 pc toast, tomato sauce, 2 C decaf coffee with cream

Lunch, ate out with friends:
1 pc whole wheat bread, 1T mayonaise, 2 slices of tomato,some lettuce, 2 oz turkey breast.

I will try not to eat much more today, maybe a peach, we'll see.

Zest, are you sure you're eating enough? Doesn't seem like much for a whole day.

I don't seem to lose weight if I eat more than about 1200 Kcal daily. I swim or do water aerobics for an hour 3-4 times a week, work in my gardens, walk or bike to the grocery store and bike to the library or to visit friends. I think I am pretty active at 67. I am just not good at losing weight.

The lower the calories, the more your body shuts down and saves the fat. It is good you are eating 1200 calories but you may want to look at what you eat because you are active and probably burn more calories than you eat.

Yeah, because of all of those poor, obese Holocaust victims who went into starvation mode.

I always put my food in in advance to plan ahead. If I change something like the meat or veg I delete and add where necessary. You are allowed to do that. Nothing fast in stone.
