didnt really do much today, had a knock about with tennis but that was with someone who doesbt really play so it was more for a laugh and fun than anything serious, managed to walk 14,000 steps (that does include the tennis as well) I have put the steps under walking on my exercise profile as i couldnt really see anywhere else it would go,

Good morning Jim, that's a really good amount of steps, not sure how many a day we are meant to do as a minimum, I think maybe 10,00? I predict another good drop for you again next weigh in. Have a good weekend x

good morning, I noticed you were on quite early this morning. The 29 aug should read 28th I cocked it up. Yes you are correct it is 10,000 steps

That's definitely a good number of steps, Jim. I have to push myself to do 5000 a day. That's nearly an hour's walking for me, and I don't get many steps in usually other than going for a walk. Going to the shops can get me a few. I've bought a bike, and am cycling when the weather permits. Just looked to see if there's a way of converting cycling to steps, and found 1km cycling = 300 steps. Now that sounds good, I can use that! I have flat feet and bad knees, and don't always want to walk far.

to be honest i am not sure what the equivalent would be, howev r i will attempt to find out. the calorie count will be different because the will use different muscles A lot will also depend on speeds etc, i would try to work out calories by using METS as a guideline (just google METS) to be honest i think this site uses them. I have some exercises that arnt listed so i try to get as close as possible and i only use it as a rough guide. I o however have a fit watch which does help.

You mean calories burned? Presumably allowing for things like your weight? I think FS does do that.
