Happy Friday FS users! I hope you all have a beautiful day and a fabulous weekend! For me, the weekends are the hardest to stay on track. I've been trying to be more focused, but sometimes all my good intentions end up being poorly implemented. What do you all do to stay focused on the weekends? How to stay motivated - love this!

This is statistically challenging time for a lot of people... I personally try to write down the most important things that I would like to do or achieve over the weekend and try to plan on my hourly calendar... But on the other hand sometimes you just have to let go of all the plans and rest... Plan a exciting different activity for the weekend that involves being physically active - like swimming, or going to the botanical garden... That's what we try to do in our house...

I will be trapped in the car all day again tomorrow going to pick up the kids in Syracuse. Again packing healthy snack and food to eat, no restaurants and bottled water.

Awesome ideas! I love the hourly calendar idea! Wow, I'm going to start that! I did join a local zoo and have been going there occasionally to do something different while getting in exercise. I've also been wanting to go to a local water park. Packing healthy snacks with bottled water is another great one! Restaurants are hard for me to avoid on the weekends but if I do go to one, I'll be sure to look up the nutrition on their website first so I plan what I'm going to eat! Love these suggestions. Thank you both so much!

I work from home, but still sometimes suffer from 'weak-end' temptations . . . not sure how often/when you weigh-in, but I only weigh-in once/week on Monday AMs, so knowing that is coming up helps keep me in check. Also, just having healthy (or at least healthier) snacks on hand (frozen grapes, trail mix, hummus, e.g.) in case temptation/hunger pangs strike so I don't fall too far off the wagon. Like IngaVioloet, with more time available, I try to do either additional and/or 'different' forms of exercise.
