Day 6 - Atkins induction completed.

If it wasn't for that little 'wanting a sweet' after a meal, this diet would be perfect for curing the crazy cravings. But it doesn't last long, because I change my focus.

How liberating! Lot less time thinking about food, chopping, cleaning, well, you get it.


Still no BM, so I've decided I'm going for a Guinness. Not the beer, the World Record...lol

But seriously, I don't know if I should be concerned. The hesitation stems from the fact that I feel no discomfort, bloating, whatsoever.

could it be that most of what I ate left little waste matter to evacuate?

I use to be such a regular girl! lol

Well on the upside, imagine money on the toilet paper I'm saving...

I'll resume drinking water and adding more veggies to my meals.

I don't feel thinner, or feel that I've gained. I feel the same. Weigh in is tomorrow, and I'm anxious to see the results. But as Snow says, maybe I'll hold off if I don't see a BM. I don't want to get discouraged if the scale doesn't provide the results I'd like.

Although, there is something to be said about the diet just for its cure of the cravings. We shall see what today brings.

If it lasts for more then a week take meds that will make you get a BM, you don't want to be holding onto that toxic waste for too long.

Water is an excellent idea. Benefiber would help also if necessary.

Well, no worries - I've meet the throne in a comfortable way! Really strange this diet. The constipation that didn't feel like constipation... For one thing, I got a BP reading at a pharmacy on July 3rd, and it came up as 131/82 pulse 78 - I've never been that high. Today I went to the same machine and got a reading of 107/66, pulse 78. I've never been that low!!! I think I kind of like this new WOE. But I do miss watermelon, what I live on in the summer.
