Pixi, If we just hold out and continue to do the right thing, it WILL happen. Slow is better than not at all. It's so tempting, when this happens, to drop the calories. I know better, but it's hard not to give in to the thoughts sometimes. Here's wishing you success tomorrow.

Well I did weigh in this morning... like every morning and even with my extremely sore muscles I was at 203.8 (shhhh don't tell anyone lol) so hopefully tomorrow will be down a bit more... I think slow and steady is the perfect way to do this as it means we are more than likely going to keep off all the weight onces we finally hit the maintinence mile.

Well, after three months, I definitely have the maintenance thing down pat. The only problem is, I still have 81 lbs to go. LOL!!! (I won't tell anyone about the 203.8, :-), but I'm happy to hear it.)

Thanks NCM! I'm happy to see it. The last three months I have only lost 1 lb a month, but it's better than gaining. Have a great day!!!

Just think if you continue to lose 1 pound amonth you only have 81 months left to go lol Sorry I think you are doing fantastic and I really think your body is at a "reset point" once you get past this little break you will be clear sailing until you hit the next resting spot. 68.8 pounds is amazing and don't you have a charm waiting for you at 70 pounds??

Hehe! Pixi, you have a great memory. Yes, I have another charm waiting in my jewelry box for 70 lbs . . . maybe next week. That would be awesome. Then I have to come up with the cash for the 80 lb charm. If this is a "set point", the next one may not be until 145 lbs. That was were I stayed a long time after I had my last baby and had lost 50 lbs during the pregnancy. We'll see, I guess.

Reset point--that is probably what is wrong with my weight loss--I have been here 5 weeks!!!! When I only lose a little, I imagine 1 stick of butter smeared all over me and how much I would want ALL of that gone....1/4 lb. A little lose is a LOT. Bonnie

Bonnie, I agree with you. 1/4 lb is still great. As long as we're not gaining any back, we're ahead of the game. By the way, my real name is also Bonnie. Johanne is my registered name in a medieval-type recreation group, the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). It's like a civil war reenactment group, only we do the middle ages from 600 AD to 1600 AD. Johanne is my persona. LOL!
