Well I survived my trip to "the island" (as the locals refer to it).
The flight home was uneventful. A few bumpy patches, but nothing crazy. I think as I fly more, the patches of turbulence doesn't bug me as much.
So I got home and pretty much crashed... I was soooo glad to see my own bed. I think I'm still on the Atlantic time zone though, because 8:30 hit (which would have been 9:30), and I was done sleeping. I just got up and left my DH sleeping. He's really short on sleep too... he doesn't sleep as well when I'm away.
So today's the day I re-dedicate to eating healthy again, and watching my calories. Plus I need some protein. I never realized how unhealthy the food is out there, until I couldn't cook for myself. So much fat and grease, and so little healthy protein! It could be that it is just the cafeteria type food, but it did surprise me.
Plus I need to exercise! When I was soooo tired, I had no desire to do anything except sit and sleep. I'm sure I'll be on here later whining about how hard the workout was, but I know I gotta do it! It's definitely going to be a workout day inside because it's supposed to be 30C here today (more with the humidity), so no walking outside today.
I'm also a bit nervous about what story the scale is going to tell tomorrow. I do already have a list of excuses for why it's higher, but I'll save those for tomorrow and am hoping I don't need them! LOL
Well it's now 10am and I think DH has slept enough... so I'm gonna go wake him up to get him to make me breakfast. I hope you all have a great Saturday!!
