I am frustrated. I am trying to follow Atkins (modified to allow adequate fiber), and recording my food at CRON-O-Meter. I want to see progress in the daily fluctuation of the scale, but clearly I've made no progress since my last weigh-in 42 days ago, in fact I've gained 5 lbs.

I need to keep pursuing my weight loss so I can make appropriate adjustments which will allow success.
295.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 55.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.7 lb a week

If you have been following Atkins for 42 days and not losing something is wrong. Are you tracking your calories? You might need to. If you eat too much of anything, you can gain. Drink your water. Be active. I would start with the caloric intake and see what is going on. Maybe start at 1800 to 2000 a day and see what happens.
