Woke up the 2nd time to rain, started my coffee 5am then fell back to sleep till a bit after 7. It's pouring and just started radar looks like it will be around for awhile. Lucky in one way my car is outside and the windows were down, so just a bit wet, at least the sunroof wasn't open. MMMM weather people said the rain would be gone by 6am if we had any at all. Now possible showers all day....

Rain changes everything, I may have to bale the grass in my back yard that is well fertilized by pups!! No rain in the forecast Monday and Tuesday guess grass mowing time then.

This means continue working on my house, mostly cleaning as it's a disaster and painting the pantry pieces which I can do in the garage.

I might even get some food cooked for lunches! I really need to do that.
1st project is super clean the upstairs frig since it is empty and unplugged, scrub that part of the floor, and get it plugged in so it gets cold. I will so appreciate not having to run up and down the stairs for food and ice.

Exercise will be stair climbing--LOL. Moving food later and putting tons of laundry away. Washing floors etc. I should at least get my steps in and my house a little bit clean. That will feel good.

Crazy pup wants me to make the rain stop, she wants outside again but not in the rain. Insane parrot continues his new thing, making noises like crazy pup's squeaky toys.

Hey Nut, storms tonight and into Monday. Rain most of the week as of latest forecast, but what do they know? What kind of parrot do you have? I lost my gray during the winter. My son and my eclectus fell in love, so she lives with him. I still have an umbrella cockatoo who thinks she's a puppy. Have a great, soggy day.

Umbrellas are so pretty, I would love one!! So sorry you lost your gray. What happened? they live forever. I lost my cockatiel young to cancer years ago. I have a bitty 7 0z green and teal Quaker who thinks he's big. Ornery little thing as he is very territorial about his cage, a chatterbox and a cuddler when he's not in his cage. He's been mad for the last 2 weeks as he has been stuck in his cage with my house in disarray and he's molting so that does not help his disposition. His cage is also on the floor and of course being down low is not where a parrot belongs since they like high places. He will go back to his normal spot today. I'm afraid to let him out as he gets places and is sometimes hard to find. Birds are so funny.

Parrot making noises like the pup's squeaky toys. That has got to be too funny.

When he started it last week, I kept looking for the crazy pup because I thought she was outside. He makes noises like the microwave beeper also. He's silly and chatters a lot.

Jeri, your bird sounds so cute, imitating your pup's squeaky toys and microwave beeps. What is the name of your bird? Maybe you said before, but I forgot.

Gabby, he had that name when I adopted him. He talks as well. Never know what he is going to say. He will pop off things that I did not know he knew then not say them for a long time. He's being really quiet since I moved him back to his normal corner in the kitchen. I think he has to get used to the color. It takes him awhile to adjust to any changes.
