I did too much snacking yesterday and I did give in to my Cadbury egg craving, but all in all I feel like I did okay. I'm glad I kept my motivation to get a workout in to somewhat balance those snack calories. Today shouldn't be terrible, but we just need to get those darn Easter cookies out of the house. There aren't many left, so I'm hoping they're gone quickly and not all eaten by me. :)

Today I am feeling achy in all my joints. It's been drizzly here and just gloomy and I think that's why my joints aren't happy. Since my hubby has a meeting tonight and we have to eat dinner early I'm going to make this a rest day, but maybe I'll do a little stretching this evening. As long as I can resist the junk food I should be good.

omgosh! I am so glad to know that I am not the only one that caved to the Cadbury Egg..... 15 days without refined sugar---guess I thought I was strong enough to ward it off when I bought the Easter Basket goodies for "the rest of my family".... Have a wonderful day!!

Same weather here, yuck! Shove the easter junk in your kids school bags for special snacks lol. Have a good one :)

Have you considered that you may have a gluten sensitivity? When I eat wheat and some other grains in any product, I get achy joints, too.

HCB- I have been tested with a biopsy and an allergy test for gluten allergy/sensitivity and everything was normal. I have the start of arthritis in my knees I know because the x-rays showed it, and I have a long family history of arthritis. I'm only 33 so it stinks that it's starting so young, but I've been dealing with it since before I turned 30, so I've just learned when I need to take it easy. Yo- I wish I could send the candy to school, but the kids can only have healthy snacks. They are really strict with what is sent and won't let them eat it if it doesn't fall in the guidelines. But, it's not the candy at home that gets me because I won't eat the candy from my kids baskets, it doesn't even tempt me, but at the store while I'm waiting in line and they have the leftover Easter candy just sitting there for sale calling to me, that does me in. I need to learn to be strong. :)
