mars2kids's Journal, 06 April 2015

Well, I'm down a pound today, so I'll take it. I was super busy last week and over the weekend and only exercised I think twice the whole week and thought my eating was worse than it was. I've been getting better with my will power lately though and been able to say no to things, so I'm getting stronger mentally.

Yesterday we had lunch at my Mom's for Easter. We really didn't have a ton of food, but enough. I ate small servings of everything and even had some dessert, but kept that small too. I left not feeling overstuffed but just right. Last night we had sandwiches for dinner and I had some veggies, a salad, and beets, so I feel like I did pretty well for being tempted by the Easter treats. I have only eaten a few jelly beans and a reese's egg this year, no other Easter candy has passed my lips. :) I've been craving a Cadbury egg though, so I may break down and eat one as long as it fits into my calories, but I think now that Easter is over the craving will go away.

This week I'm just going to try to do the same with eating and just keep it under control. The week won't be as busy so that will help and I should be able to get some exercise in. My run yesterday was much needed and felt great, so I need to keep going, but the rain may keep me from running this week. I have plenty of DVD's to keep me going though.

I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Wow, beautifully done!! Wish I could say the same. It wasn't an all out binge for me, but definitely more easter candy than I needed. Plus my mom made chocolate cake for my birthday, and sent the extra home with me! I had one slice, and in a moment of great strength and amazing courage I threw the rest of the leftover cake in the trash. Whew! :) Have a wonderful day Mary!!
