Last night and this morning, I am apparently suffering from residue in our house - remember, it's under construction. I started off in our bedroom until Papa Bear woke me up with his snoring, and I moved to the sofa. Had to sleep under a blanket due to so much stuff in the air -- everytime I removed the blanket, I started coughing. :( Also last night I was cold and sore from all the planks and burpees from yesterday's workout. Still sore this morning and held up in our bedroom working today. Thought about driving in, but then thought better of it. Will be driving in tomorrow. Bummed that we have to take puppy power to Grandma's tonight, but it's either that or drive him in way early in the morning (6:30am) or I drive him in and turn around and drive to work (1 hour and 20 minutes total both ways). Love the Ru. Will be weird for him to not be home tonight. He usually reminds us when bedtime is!

Today, contractors are still mudding.
Yesterday, all I did was upload photos into Shutterfly for the office. CRAZY how long it actually took me to do it -- and I started early and finished late. I was sick and tired of looking at the computer screen! Now I only need to do the same thing at my desktop computer in the office and we'll be current. WHEW!

Today's workout will be in the bedroom -- will do without the dvd (shoulders, arms and ARX) and maybe without weights. Still making sure I don't tweak my shoulder or my elbow (left side). Using my own resistance is quite effective!

Had the same supper and lunch yesterday as the day before. Did't have as heavy of cereal this morning (normally have granola -- had 1/2 c Cheerios instead). I changed my RDI from 1900 to 1700. I changed from losing a lb a week to losing 1/2lb a week. Baby step mentality. Working from home can be challenging if I let me food get out of hand...honestly, planning it each day has helped. Learning to say no to food when I'm not hungry is a moment to moment challenge. It's one of my struggles. Anyway, back to RDI -- with losing 1/2 lb a week, my intake should be 2200 calories. I subtracted 500 calories (which I should be burning each day in exercise) and came to 1700. On the weekends it will be more challenging than weekdays --- we tend to eat out each meal on Saturdays and at least one meal on Sunday. We determined (hubby and I) that we have more control during the week than weekend. We'll see how this goes!

There was more I was gonna share, but honestly I forgot. Had to make major decision of do we want almond or white light plates. We have almond now...so.....almond.

Also - have been very emotional lately. I'd say it's that time of the month, but it's not. Think I'm becoming very sentimental. Weird sensation for me -- I've always been able to keep my emotions in check until I'm in private.

Sounds like the construction is a pain. It will be great when it's done though. Whenever my hubby has done anything to our house and stirred up a lot of dust I always get sick. I never had bad allergies until I was an adult. I have a harder time eating well on weekends than during the week too. It's just so much easier for me to grab junk on the weekend and if I'm bored I'm thinking of food, then I think I'm hungry when I'm not. My hubby and I have decided we need to be busier on the weekends, just more active, so that we don't think about food. Good luck!!
