After losing 70 pounds I have noticed some excess skin on my right side around my waist and upper thigh. For some reason there is very little extra skin on my left side. I can only speculate the reason for this is because I am doing something different on my left side. My activity is symmetrical because I move my right side as much and often as my left.
However, the only probably reason is because I take about 4 hot showers each day. Most of the time in the shower is on my left side (shoulder and back) because that is where I have the most pain. I'm sure they never got all the metal out of my shoulder. But I cannot live on pain medication and the only real relief from the pain is a lot of heat and that works out very well. I take a hot shower when I wake up, after my morning walk, after my afternoon walk, and usually before I sleep.
I'm guessing that the heat opens up the blood flow to the skin more. When you burn fat, the fat must be extracted from the blood flow. More blood flow on my left side near the skin can be the only reason that I can think of. But for now I will try more heat on my right side to see if anything changes.
