Gym choices. Opinions/Advice much appreciated. There are 2 gyms in my area that provide Childcare. So my choice is between the two.

3 month membership, 3 months of childcare, 3 months of classes.
Wellness Center: 124.00
Fitness Center: 131.00

Wellness center Pros:
It's about 1/2 mile from my house.
It's cheaper.
Has many classes to choose from throughout the week.
New facility.
Morning and afternoon childcare hours.

Wellness center cons:
Doesn't have as friendly a vibe as the Fitness center.
It's currently undergoing remodeling in various areas.
Smaller Child care area than the Fitness center.

Fitness Center Pros:
Has a pool, but costs 40.00 per month to use.
Childcare area is twice as big as wellness, plus an outside play ground
Has more Gym equipment available.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Family-like.

Fitness center Cons:
It's about 5 miles from my house, clear across town.
The facility is a bit dated.
The pool room isn't air conditioned and costs 40 extra dollars a month.
They only offer 3 classes with the 5 dollar per month.
Only afternoon childcare hours.

I'm a little torn between the two and having issues deciding which to choose. Also might be starting Jules in two weeks of swim lessons at the end of the month, so I'll be swimming with her during her lessons.

I would personally pick the Wellness center, because the closer it is to home for me the less excuses I come up about not going.

I go on the conservative side, if you can get what you want for a good workout at the cheaper place and Jules is happy there, I would go with that, it is closer to home too so agree with Britt, you are more likely to go more.

I was kinda leaning towards that one too once I had written the Journal out. And having just come out of a tough 2-3 months financially. I'd like to spend less money on the gym. So I'll talk with hubby about it tonight/tomorrow and probably sign up next week once I'm done visiting friends.
