Cooking soup for a friend who doesn't cook and the house smells amazing. Veggie stock from scratch, soup with chicken and every veggie you can name plus kale. Got sweet potato, carrots, green beans, cauliflower, pepper, celery, onion, mushrooms, yellow squash, asparagus and kale. Of course, there's got to be enough to make 2 humongous pots so half will go in the freezer to go from scratch next time lol. She will be happy and fed. Ended up with enough to also do a stirfry.

Today is catch-up on school and needing to get outside too. It seems cool but not cold but now I'm tired from doing all that cooking lol. Still have to get out there sometime today and see what I can do. Dad will be here in less than a week and I need to keep up!

Last night had leftover fajita steak on my salad and watched movies for the evening as a Happy Valentine's Day celebration to me. Thought about going out but had just as much fun, saved $50 and didn't deal with the crowds so that was a good thing I think. My wallet appreciated it anyway.
