Halfway through first week of lower carb high fat. First day gained 3 lbs but am losing. Half lb a day since so I am guessing it was water or dietary shock lol.
My breath smells like old socks. Don't really understand that. Good thing I don't have a V day date! I read a couple places that you have to be careful of artificial sweeteners........ Splenda good -aspartame bad? I am starting to like eggs thank goodness. I am thinking this is so radically different I should give it 2 weeks. I am tired but I think its most likely even more important to keep calories up on this, yes? Happy V Day all! Dark chocolate wishes to all of you!

try the «sugar» trivia. It's taste really sweet and it's good for the health (0 calories too) :) I've bought 99% lindor dark chocolate (it taste quite awful at first but you get use to it) and because of the taste you eat less and feel full quite rapidly. Happy Valentines to you too ^^

Yes it will take a while for your body to adjust to low carb high fat - I gave it four weeks and now am sold on it for a while - the scale is moving.

Way to go. Keep at it. Hoping to get over that weird feeling myself. Got this feverish feeling. Must be because I'm depriving my body of that Lindt chocolate.

Obvious solution for the breath. More coffee. I know you've lowered carb, but if you've increased protein maybe your body is saying, "Wow! Look what I can build with this!" ;)

Actually I don't think splenda is that great either. I use liquid Stevia to sweeten my tea and either xylitol or erythritol or Truvia (blend of stevia and erythritol) for other stuff like cooking and baking. Well done on making it one week, Nicholaix!

The breath thing is due to the low carb.. chew on mint leaves if you can get them this time of year. I agree Splenda isn't that great either. I'm trying to use mine up and switch to Stevia, I only use it in tea.
