Happy for you that you are getting all this extra exercise without having to go to the gym! BTW - been gone for 2 days and need to catch up. I never got the answer to Nicholaix question in her February 10th journal. What's up?

Diehard3. Glad to help out. The protein shake powder sounds as weird as the coconut oil in the coffee, but it doubles as the sweetener as well. You can also buy it in chocolate. Mocha time.

OK so I can it coconut oil in my coffee? I hate artificial sweeteners and I'm a diabetic. I really need to learn to live more :)

Kristy. It does need to be blended or it floats on top.

O.O Wow, never thought of that.

I have read that heat and protein powder do not go well - meaning it renders the protein almost useless. Not sure why, but I have been told I cannot make Hot cocoa from chocolate protein powder...so putting it in coffee might taste good but not give you the nutrition..

Denatured sounds bad but "Though it may not sound like it, a denatured protein can be very beneficial if you're looking to aid the protein absorbance in your body." It's not bad for you. It's why eggs get hard when you boil them and meat turns brown at 37 degrees or above. If you want all natural protein, catch your fish and eat it. The quote is from fitday website article entitled "Is a Denatured Protein Still Nutritionally Beneficial?"

the challenge I had intended for before valentines day? I'm afraid it will have to wait now. Perhaps the end of the month. Are you in? :)
