I've been headachey and super emotional for the past two days. Is this from cutting back carbs so much? Or just the big reduction in overall calories? I don't know. I went off diet tonight and had a small amount of pasta with dinner hoping maybe it would help the headaches. Not clear if it helped or not. Anyone else get headaches from this?

It is very common, but like Linda says, the withdrawal only lasts for a few days. Don't know why but some recommend a cup of hot bouillon for relief. Wouldn't hurt to try.

If I don't drink enough water I get the headaches.

Thanks all. I also get headaches if I don't drink enough water, and I've been good about that this time... It's a good general reminder, though.
BuffyBear: bullion? Huh. That's interesting, I hadn't heard of that. Maybe it's the salt that helps somehow? I may try it-- decided to do my carb reduction a little more slowly so I can avoid being a total grouch this weekend.
