I went back to my bellydance troupe tonight for the first time in ages. Has it really been almost two years!? I am still having physical therapy for my shoulder (operation Sept 2009, so yeah, two years) and I have tennis elbow on the other arm. *facepalm* It sure was fun to dance though!
I expect I will be sore tomorrow but I am determined that I am BACK! Every week! There are a number of new dancers that I hadn't met before as well as dear friends that I haven't seen enough of. Perhaps I can get rid of some of the "Botticelli pottibelli" if I get my stomach back in dancing tone. So be it!

I have two left feet, but belly dancing sounds like so much fun! Think I see if a studio has a free trial night or something in this area.

Bellydancing is fun! I do American Tribal Style which is a free-flowing improv style rather than a choreographed form. I hope you give it a try. :)

Thanks Keli. I did go back this week but only managed 1/2 an hour. I'll have to be more careful not to schedule physical therapy on dance day. But I'm motivated!
