Feeling better today. Had a serious rant and pity party yesterday, which, though childish, made me feel better. Today, my mind is real.
Took a nice, easy run yesterday, and it seems I didn't lose as much as I thought in that regard. It felt good. I know better than to think it will be easy. The journey to the marathon this year will be far harder than last year as I'm starting out ten pounds heavier already, but I'm willing to get there one more time.
The word for this week is focus. What's this about? Food and pounds, or feeling good? It's an easy answer.
