Happy Hump Day to my FS friends. And it's a short week. What a nice short week. I feel that I have ended this short week with a big success, a nice loss. I am not at 265, like I wanted to be, but maybe that was because I wasn't trying as hard as I should. So, now I am trying, and I think I will get to 260 for Christmas. It will not be easy by any stretch, however, last night was one of those little victories that made me happy.

Got done with work, and I had eaten some PB&J before I went in, so now it's 9 o'clock, and my wife wanted to know when I was leaving so she could make me dinner. I thought about it and told her to hold off on the dinner. I had already eaten something, so I will just grab a little snack before I leave so I won't be hungry when I go to bed. When I leave work, I saw a new snack. A peanut butter and chocolate cracker jack snack. SOUNDS YUMMY!!!! Then I looked at the calories. I am not opposed to eating a 450 calorie snack, but I wanted something small, not a meal. So I went with the Slim Jim (140 calories, but a lot of salt, I know). I just wanted something small, and I didn't want to get the big bag of beef jerky, or a candy bar. As I was checking out, the cashier said that the other snack is delicious, but I told her it had too many calories for me at the moment. She said, "It's Thanksgiving. It's OK." It's not ok. I understand that every now and then you can cheat, but if Thursday is coming, and you know that it's going to be a very tempting day, let's not have a couple of cheat days, just one.

So, with that being said, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Nice drop and you are right, only one cheat day will not do much harm but it shouldn't go further then that. Happy Thanksgiving.
