Ugh I am so cold I just feel like eating, all the time! made some cheesy bones last night and have eaten half already LOL. Thankfully they are mostly eggs, cheese and protein powder! Not even sure how to put them in my tracker.

We still have no heating and our house was a chilly 10C (50F) this morning and it is not much warmer now. Getting our heating fixed may still be weeks away. Even maybe mid May! I normally love the winter but not being able to get warm throughout the day is miserable!

What I am thankful for:

Hot drinks!
Hot food! LOL
Warm underarms.... LOL
That we had no more major damage from the latest big aftershock
For my husband's job - and the fact he is at least warm at work
That I haven't got sick yet! Not properly anyway LOL
For my wonderful friends on here that are so supportive - thank you!

Warm thoughts to you. I wish I could send you a heat storm. Stay as warm as you can and no sickness allowed! Never heard of cheesy bones. can you post the recipe if you have time? Wear lots of clothes and double the socks.

http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=95367 I didn't need to put any salt in mine as they tasted salty as it was. It is now warmer outside than in so I have all the windows open.

grr can't post the link but I can post the recipe... Cheesy "Bones" 3 oz. cream cheese 3 oz. grated cheddar 1 egg 3 heaping tbsp plain soy protein isolate salt to taste paprika/cayenne/herbs to taste Mix everything together with your hands. Knead until it's like play-doh. Form it into thin 'snakes' about 2 inches long. Lay out on greased cookie sheet. Bake about 15 mins or till browned. Cool on wire racks.

Thats pretty chilly my friend. You need my sister's little dog, she is like a hot water bottle that doesn't get cold. She keeps me warm when I am down there. Everyone is burning up and I am shivering all the time. So she sits on my lap and sleeps at my feet at night. Love her to pieces.. Have a good evening........Bren

No pics but just picture a chiauaua fat as a football. She waddles when she walks and snores when she is asleep. My sister had her thyroid checked but it was OK so she is just going to be a big one..

You should see her and Pookie (cocka-poo)play. Pookie can put Nina's head in her mouth. They are quite humorous together.......Bren
