Well, I was sick Sat through today. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow. Sunday (yesterday) was the worst of it. I have no discipline when I am sick (as you can see from my food entries). I was lying around feeling miserable and decided I needed biscuits which you have to eat with butter. Then around dinner time, I thought about biscuits and that got me thinking about KFC. Our KFC is co-located with a Taco Bell. Well this train of dominoes ended at around 3000 calories. I will just have to beat the hell of diet and exercise the remainder of the week.

Y'all do better than me, and I will do better myself.

Successful dieting, reaching your goal, is a journey. It's not a one shot deal. It re-educating yourself about how food affects, why you eat, and how to make healthier choices. It's not enough to start over, it's also to see where you fail, and how you can overcome it next time. It sounds like to used food yesterday for comfort. I do that too. But having given up junk food, when I do use comfort food, it's not as damaging. I'll give myself permission, but I'll try to eat just a bit healthier. Instead of ice cream, I'll go for yogourt, or sorbet. Instead of chips, I'll go for popcorn, instead of... I don't go all out, because weight loss is just to hard to have to start all over. There's a lot of work (measuring, cooking, exercising for 1 lbs of weight loss) . Hang in there, it's a journey.
