I'm so sick of being sick! I went back to the Dr. today. At least I got a Dr. this time. I love my nurse practitioners, but after six weeks and having it turn into pneumonia and the NPs being afraid to give out antibiotics, I'm pretty much fed up. This Dr. finally gave me 5 days of Prednisone and a heavy duty antibiotic with a 14 day supply. She said it may take another dose at that time, it's so firmly settled into my lungs. At least they didn't hospitalize me yet. Apparently, they don't have an oxygen tester at this clinic. I know I'm not getting much!

that is so scary! The same thing happened to my boss 6 months ago but it was her fault because she wouldn't listen to me and she kept putting off going to see the Dr. I really really hate hearing how sick you are, hopefully the prednisone and the antibiotics kick in fast!

I almost went to the emergency room last night, just to, hopefully, end this. At least there, I knew I would see a real Dr. I really have been trying to stay on top of this . . . silly clinic! I felt so horrible though, I couldn't face the hours it takes to get through the ER. I hope the 'scripts kick in soon too.

Oh, Jo, I am so sorry that it has taken them so long to finally take care of you adn give you what you need to get better...and I really cannot believe they had no oximeter...sheesh. Hang in there dear friend and take care...I have been praying for you! Your weight is looking awesome!

Thanks dear Steph. I know! My son has one at home from his bad bout with pneumonia last year, but I don't want to drive all the way over there. I told them in the beginning this wasn't viral. I could tell. As I said, I kept getting the nurse practitioners and they're all about keeping us from becoming antibiotic resistant . . . even if it kills us. LOL. Night all. I'm headed to bed . . . AGAIN! (I'm craving pizza. It's a good thing I can't afford one! LOL)

They are just now starting to make a difference. I have to admit though, the Prednisone is kicking my butt! Hugs back atcha, Steph.
