So I've been off the reservation for a few days. My sister was here visiting, so we ate out a lot. And I had a few desserts. And the irony is -- some of the healthy stuff I ate, like lettuce and cauliflower, didn't really agree with me, while the bad stuff seemed ok. I don't feel all that guilty because I hung on to some good habits in spite of being a bit delinquent. I didn't eat bread or potatoes or white rice. I tried to pick entrees that were healthy, even when we went out. Tonight I made salmon, quinoa, and spinach-- measured my portions, stayed with the plan - but yes, I had some dessert. I'm ready to get back on track tomorrow.
