I am trying not to let the scale get to me because even though it says I gained two lbs, my bmi has dropped 2%. So, booyah 8-)
184.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 34.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 1.6 lb a week

Sweet! Are you going by the scales's body fat percentage? Mine is notoriously inaccurate - and always tells me I'm way above where I'm actually at (even though it does have the sense to go down when I lose weight). I actually calculate my body fat % using my measurements at this website: scientificpsychic.com/fitness/diet.html I love it because it also calculates your approximate lean muscle mass, and I LOVE watching that number go up, up, up! while body fat % goes down, down, down! :)

its hard not to let the scales get you down...but the scales doesnt always tell the whole story...its how the clothes are fitting...the scales might be showing water retention...muscle gain...any number of things...

Sad but true, my scales match up with the drs office. Thanks y'all for the encouragement, it means so much!
