Kathy Vanish's Journal, 29 September 2014

My cold is starting to ebb off. Wow! I haven't had a stubborn to leave cold like this in years. Of all the things my daughter had to bring home from preschool. Hopefully, after this cold all of the family's immune systems will be "immune" and the next one won't last as long.

I got some exercise in last week, but it wasn't stupendous and not my usually standard. I am going to try harder this week.

I was able to stick with my RDI goals for the most part and am proud of myself on that side of things.

I forgot to weigh myself again this morning in the hecticness of a school morning so hopefully tomorrow. I am not expecting anything as my TOM just ended and Ovulation has begun and I am always bloated during these two weeks.

I did make a discovery this week. The day after my TOM ends is when I crave salty snacks the most. If you look at my journal it's the day I ate potato chips (don't usually do that) and peanuts in the same day. I will have to be more vigilant on that day now that I know and plan in a healthier salty snack - mixed nuts instead of potato chips. Any ideas from my buddies would help.

How did everyone else do last week?

How about salted cottage cheese with some fresh veggies? You could trow in some nuts in it too. I did great. It felt fantastic to be able to do my calisthenics routine again. I had some back issues that are now finally over.

It would work if I liked cottage cheese. Thanks for the suggestion though.
