Oops, forgot my bike ride yesterday. Will have to get it out of my spare room so it's visible. It will go in my garage one of these days. The rain is supposed to be gone this afternoon. Have decided, to skip the gym while I'm working the stairs as it takes time out of my day, at least 2 hours.

Internet is being upgraded this am. Will have to go pick up the rokus sometime today, they should be waiting for me at Walmart. Satellite is being turned off on Friday. Will probably find other things I need to get at home depot near there anyway. Will check Walmart for coconut sugar, I was there the day I saw it somewhere.

Work continues on my stairway today. It's steel wool scrub down for the metal, wash everything down, spray primer, then spray with the silver metallic. The top railing sitting in my driveway needs the same treatment.

In between work on catching up my kitchen (from not using water) and on removing staples from the treads, if they weren't curved I would replace them. Those need kils primer, then painted with deck/cement paint I bought yesterday.

Will see if my phone access will let me change the avatar to my work in progress. The resolution on my tablet is messed up since the grand kids messed with it.

You are an inspiration! Our log house needs so much work! Last year we had a handyman and he helped us tear out and replace the kitchen and all three bathrooms. I was hoping he'd be available this year to replace our basement stairs and put in egress windows in what I hope will be two bedrooms down there. But unfortunately for me (but fortunately for him) he has been busy with his regular job and won't have time for our work. I'm great with a paint brush, wall paper, even hanging curtains, blinds, and pictures. I even put in our river rock backsplash in the kitchen by myself, but tearing out and replacing a stairway and windows is waaaay above my pay grade.

Oooo love log homes,!!! my daughter and SIL designed and built theirs. Hipaagrammy, not tearing out the stairway.. LOL. That would be too much. It's a metal spiral staircase going from the kitchen to my basement, put in in the 70's. They wrapped each stair tread in heavy carpet with at least 100staples in each one. They also wrapped all the trim, the top landing and the ceiling in the same carpet. I'm tearing out all that carpet, had to remove the top railing to get it out, re-flooring the top area with cork flooring, painting the railings, the walls, adding trim to cover what the carpet covered, painting the treads and cement floor and putting in a light fixture, the old one was a rigged dangerous mess.

Hi Girl! I'm not on here enough to keep up with you. Happy fall cleaning. I'm with Hipagrammy - will try to get some inspiration from your energy.
