Thanks! Its gonna be a while before I see another drop.. I will weigh in in a month. I hope I drop something by then.

Why a month? Statistically those who weigh daily are more likely to keep it off. Just curious.

Northern I thought it would help me not stress over the little fluctuations, and focus on the bigger picture.. is that not a good idea??

I was only weighing once a week, but then switched to Monday and Friday, to help me keep my weekend in perspective. But those are the only days I actually log weight. I check weight daily, mostly to find out what might have been a factor if I see a temporary upward weight. Your weight fluctuates throughout the day from water drinking, food eating, body elimination and such. The last few days my own weight steadily crept downward but I have had a massive headache. In looking things over, I discovered mor salt than usual so am going to try so e real serious salt reduction for a few days and see if this changes. DO NOT freak out over your daily fluctuations. Always weight at the same time very day. For most people the best time is after they have slept. Mornings for most. Afternoon or late morning for me because I have weird sleep patterns with puppies in the house.

Thanks Elphba.. PUPPIES? What kind? I used to breed American Cocker Spaniels. I miss it, but boy was that a LOT of work..lol. Was fun, great memories. And fun for my kids.

I went from weighing and recording every day to weighing every day (most days) and recording once a week. It works for me as I understand the daily fluctuations of salt, hydration, elimination, hormones, etc but I also get a big picture weekly.
