Happy weekend, everyone!

Next week is the half-marathon, Water to Wine in Sonoma. My goal this week is light, easy, short runs and to simply maintain weight. I will need all the energy I can muster for that run. I will resume losing weight next week!

As August is filled with family events, I believe my goal for September 1st will be 134. That is 6 pounds in 4 weeks. And 130 by September 15th.

Today is busy. Two large Elm trees in front yard have Dutch Elm disease plus four other smaller trees also need to come down. A baby shower at 2 and company for dinner at 6:30. And as no dust fairies showed up over night to clean the house I had better get back at it.

With how much you are exercising, I have no doubt you can reach your goals. Just my 2 cents, though. I would expect 1 lb. per week and be thrilled if you reached more. The less you have to lose, the harder your body will hold on to it. Sorry about your tree issues. I hear you on the dust fairies slacking in their duties. Have a lovely evening with friends.

You wil more than reach your goal for 1 Sep. Wow what a busy fun day that sounds like you had plus using a chain saw on the trees woo hop
