:D
^^^^ This is my smile following my morning weigh-in. I may well see the 160s by my 1 year anniversary of healthy living after all.
Had a relaxing day yesterday. No long run. Did bike for 30, but nothing too grueling. Actually took a nap in the middle of the day and I felt amazingly refreshed. Maybe the fatigue has been from over-exertion and I was just needing a day to recover.
It's sunny out. Beautiful. And, I ran my fastest first mile on my regular course ever this morning.
Draglist had commented on something Mrs. Mole had wrote in her journal yesterday. I don't remember verbatim, but it was something to the effect of: When was the last time you really worked up a sweat in your workout? It really motivated me to push myself in my run today. I didn't wear my heart monitor, but I could feel my pulse pounding in my neck and every time I felt it slow back down I pushed a little harder. I finished my 6 mile run a full 15 minutes faster overall than my typical pace. And, I worked up quite a sweat. Thanks for the motivation, y'all!
Here is to starting the week off strong!
