Today, I am down to 188.4.
I am really excited and ready to say that my friend's diet does work! I haven't been in the 180's since last year, and it was such a short trip (a short dip) before returning home to the 190s. I even paid the 200s a visit and didn't like it there.
My goal is to pack my things and say goodbye to the 190s permanently. Maybe just rent an apartment in the 180s with my eye towards getting a job in the 170s :-). I'm praying, too scared to hope, that I can get to my goal weight of 175. [This year, next year, who cares]
But I must concentrate and take this one day at a time. Yesterday, I was miserable because I was late leaving the house, forgot the snacks I brought home Friday and my hair supplies, and couldn't go to the grocery store because I had a lunchtime chiro appointment.
The mounting frustration made me want to bury my face in food. I think I was also calorie starved from this weekend's run/walk/bike ride. Until I got home, I was forced to make due with the junk snacks from day one. They did NOT make me feel good. For dinner, I was sad to find out that I ate all my brussel sprouts last week :-( I thought I had 10 left. So, I had a Italian Sausage Tofurkey with two steamed tomatoes. Those Tofurkey are high in calories and I almost immediately started to feel normal again.
Today, I feel great - if not a little sore from biking! I feel more in charge of the day and really want to get active as soon as possible.
