5K Run or Dye was an absolute blast. So proud of my kiddos for coming along for the jog, too. What a great family-friendly event. Something for everyone. As mentioned, I pushed my little 17-mo old in the jogging stroller and my 6 year-old son ran/walked it with me.

My 6YO son did great, too. Not a single complaint the whole route. Now he wants to do another running event that takes place on his birthday. I think he's caught the bug...either that or (like his mom) just does it for the t-shirt!

Today was back to the gym. I did a 10 circuits of 10-full burpees, 10-sit ups, 10-push ups, and 10-squats. Yep; add it up to to total of 100 burpees, 100 sit ups, 100 push-ups and 100 squats. How is July gonna compete with a June like I've had!

I agree with Bella. I want the t-shirt too! I wish I could join you in the gym. I'm getting antsy on my elliptical. This kid needs to come out soon so I can get my sweat on.

I'm pretty much flying all the way to Oregon and swimming down a river for the t-shirt (and the free beer at the end of the tri.) :) (haha, just kidding - there's a little more to it!) Glad you enjoyed your race, and that your son will now motivate you to do more!
