Okay, my sinus infection is gone, my energy levels are up and my foot is healed (I think--no pain or bruising for 3 weeks). Now I just gotta rearrange a few things to get my treadmill into a better position so I can watch t.v. while I exercise. If I read or watch t.v. while on the treadmill, I'm able to walk alot farther. I guess the distraction helps me not feel tired as quickly, or at least this is what I noticed when I worked out at the gym, versus staring at the wall while on the treadmill at home.
I'm back to selecting all my food for the day before I leave the house in the morning. I'm less likely to mess up or cheat, if I plan ahead everything and I know this. Going to work without a lunch and snack plan just makes it so easy to cheat. I will try working in time to log my food choices. That always helped.
The extra dose of energy is really helping up my willingness to get back on track and get back to losing weight. I now have 11 months to reach my goal (fitting back into my wedding dress on my 10 year anniversary). I will have to work hard, but I really want to do it!! I know that if I don't buy junk at the store and don't bring money to work (for eating out and the candy machine), I can stick to my food plans. Also need to set a weekly goal for my treadmill usage with a little reward (not food) at the end of each week to encourage me. Will have to think on what it will be.
Also need to reset my weightloss mini-goals so I know what I'm working towards. My first goal I know is 200 lbs. Got to get back to that!! Then I'll work on from there. That's almost 20 lbs, so I will make my goal to be the end of the month. I know it sounds like alot, but I know I'm retaining water and I think I can do it, if I really push myself.
Will try to remember to measure myself tonight and log that tomorrow. Measuring in the past helped me when I would get in a weightloss stall.
