Not sure what my day will bring. Kinzie plays at 11:00 if they lose her games are done, if they win not sure where the brackets lead. Boys may or may not play, that town's field don't drain well and both were standing water yesterday.
Restaurant depot run this am for their amazing pork roasts and yeast but they don't open till 9:00. I want to smoke a couple (usually about 4 pounds each) and take to my daughter's on Thursday. Hoping I can get those done today. Won't worry about tracking or anything next weekend, though I will pretty much stay on plan but probably drink more beer than I should.
4th weekend at the lake and probably Trailer Trash Redneck BBQ on sat. Big party annual party at a trailer court (lake area so lots of weekend/vacation areas) it's in Ozarks so the redneck and trailer trash s rather a joke. Big bbq lots of people bring food, usually a couple local bands, lots of fireworks over the lake. It's open to anyone who contributes their cans during the year. They turn the cans in for cash and the proceeds fund this great fun family party every year. Lots of nice people.
Good way to push recycling and have a fun plan for the proceeds.

Awww, is your family fun? Would you really want to go? My siblings would probably leave me out. LOL I don't think I'd like to go to an extended family reunion, unless it was with my kids generation and their kids. The rest are into way to much drama for me!! Luckily they live half a country away.
This will be one daughter, one son-in-law (he's my fishin buddy) one 15 yo granddaughter and a bunch of good friends, people I've gotten to know at the lake, and some I have yet to meet. If I could retire, buy some property there, I would do it a minute and sell my little house in the city.

Boys games were cancelled. Girls lost by 1, some really bad umpire calls or might of won.
Pork roasts, onions, chayote squash, and potatoes are in the smoker. need to clean up the mess I just made in my kitchen, put grubby shoes on, and mow my grass. The heat index is over 100, 90 degrees and so humid my glasses steam up walking out my door. it's getting done in pieces I'm sure.

Kattay, always have a blast down there. Good people, and it's away from work, and chores and I can play. I do help with cooking, pulling weeds, clean up, getting granddaughter and friends here and there, whatever needs doing. Exercise, walking the hills maybe swimming. Taking some smoked pork shoulder along for pulled pork. 9 pounds are in the smoker. Along with the Saturday bash will probably a get together or 2 since it's a holiday weekend lots of the summer people will be there too. Always good to have some extra food along. My SIL loves it when I bring goodies.

I have fun with my son in law, we are usually both up early, we take off love my daughter in bed till noon. Last time I ended up out on the lake fishing with 6 men and me. Had a blast, I do know all their wives.
