Ms Elizabeth's Journal, 19 June 2014

Its been a good day/bad day sorta day today. I didn't make it to the gym for the first time this week but that means I already got my 3 days a week in so I can consider this a rest day. Plus I think I'm having a hot flash. Do pregnant women have hot flashes? I'm inside. In a cube with an AC vent right above me in a building that normally keeps the temp at -20 and I'm the only one with a fan on them going 1,000 mph. Good thing is it's keeping me awake because I'm exhausted. I just don't have any energy left in my body. Co-workers should be grateful I'm not topless. At this point I'm thinking that would feel like heaven! This is what I get for laughing at the phrase "sweating like a pregnant nun". I'm now actually sweating like a pregnant nun. The universe has a sick sense of humor.

In a completely unrelated fitness and diet topic.... I have 64 days to go (not that I'm counting) and we still have yet to decide on a name. Well hubby thinks we have a name but we don't. I wanted my dads name for the babies middle name since little man has his dads name for his middle name. At which point he decided this was the first name. Uh no.. its one thing to name someone middle name from a relative but where is the creativity! I need some name ideas so I can change hubbies mind. Right now the baby is stuck with David. Not that it's a bad name.. its just so grown up! Any ideas? The only one I managed to come up with was Bryce.

Well, you may be sweating like a pregnant nun but it's after 1pm here and I just realized I forgot to wear a blouse today! (( don't worry, I'm wearing a cami but I normally wear a tank at the very least!!)) I guess it's a waste to ask you to name him Bella. Worked for Johnny Cash (my name is Sue, how do you do!). I actually like the name Davidson as the first name.. and it can be 'little Davy' then DV, Dave, David ... as he ages. Or he'll do something funny and you'll call him something else anyway. I call my grandson PimpDaddyBoBoHead. Long story, LOL.

You could name him James. Then you could call him Jim, Jimmy, Jamie, etc.

I like Bryce. I also like Jackson, Alex, Alexander, Emmett, Duncan, Jarrod, Greyson, Tyler... to name a few

I like Tyler! I threw Brent out there at work but a co-worker said I might as well buy a harley and find a good tattoo artist. I wonder if she meant for me or the baby. lol

I'd have to know the other names but I tend to like old names like Jacob or Ezra or Fredrick. Christian is also nice. You generally can't go wrong with Michael or even Thomas. I really like Bella's Davidson suggestion. Using Last names as First names is pretty trendy and I like the complexity.

Milkem has also been vetoed.. for some reason. Not exactly sure why. Sounded like the perfect dairy farmer's son name.

As I think of it Jackson David sounds reallllly nice

Or Jackson Davidson for a Son Son nick name especially because he is the second son! But I think strange like that! :-)

There's good names here. I like Alex, Jeremy or Joel. How about Carson? And like Lindsay said, you're baking a bun! 2 more months of your own heat wave!!

If I have 2 more months of this heatwave then I'm putting ice packs in my bra.

I love your journals.. lol. I was miserably hot with my daughter.. my poor boys would complain how cold the house was but I explained "You guys can put more clothes or blankets on.. I can only get so naked!" Good luck!!

I am into family history and love when the children are named after their parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles. The Scots had a name order they went by.

You are tired because your body is making a human - duh. And you are hot because your furnace is making a human. Again duh :) All said tongue in cheek. Honey, you do too much. I've always said that. Baby's names - nope, not got a clue. I think it's nice to keep the relatives in mind in a middle name, for sure, but it's also nice for his own name to be that, his own. You'll think of something creative I'm sure. Maybe he'll come out and you'll know, he'll bring it with him so to speak :) NOW REST, old lady's orders. Don't make me come over there.
