I'm proud of myself because even though a coworker gave me a bunch of peanut butter crackers and a couple of nutty buddy bars (my freakin weakness besides cake) they are sitting in my desk drawers untouched. Maybe the desire to lose weight is winning out finally :D

:| Get them the heck out of your drawer. Regift the things... quick! Don't let it say there... PLEASE. You are winning.

I third this. Get rid of them, that is the surest way to ensure success.

What's that in your arms. Oh, it's a peanut butter maker. (That should keep you from it for a while. Sorry about the sick sense of humour.) :D

lmao.. makes peanut butter and chocolate!! A combo made in heaven :P Thanks guys, after careful consideration I'm going to give these away to a couple of other coworkers that I know will appreciate them. You are right I'm better off not having them in case I get the temptation!

For everyone struggling as I am, every day is a new challenge. I have to stop and think about what is going into my mouth the moment before I put it there and say, "Hey, is this what you need right now, yes or no"! "Answer me, damnit" I have to answer by thinking on whether this thing on my fork or spoon will put me over the edge or help me reach the modest goal I set. It's simple really, it's always a choice. It's always a decision about the choice. The decision happens quickly and in that moment we plunge or fly. To all who have mastered this hurdle, I admire and aspire to be like you. I find all struggles and all the triumphs encouraging and touching and I am right there with you all.

I'm proud of you for having the strength to even put them in a drawer. The nutty buddy bars are one of my favorites. Short of throwing them back at the persons head I probably would have eaten then on the spot.

So awesome that you got rid of them. I can't imagine the temptation you would have to fight daily knowing that they are in there and you could eat them at any moment! Way to go!

hi Shadowx, have you tried the Atkins bars? Just asking because they have one that has a caramel center covered in chocolate and peanuts (yummy!!). Probably way better than what your co-worker offered you.
