Thank goodness it's almost Friday again! I woke up coughing this morning. I never have a cough, weird. I think it's from working in the garden after work and spreading some grass around. Darn allergies!

Yesterday I did a workout after work and felt good that I did it, but my right hip is still bothering me. I found some good hip stretches, so I'm going to keep doing those for a while and see how it goes. If I'm still hurting next week after no running I'll call the doc. I don't know if there is anything I can do, but I'd like to know if it's something I can run through, or something that I should be doing even more rest for. One of the stretches has me on the floor on all fours and lifting my leg out to the side (imagine a dog peeing pose), and every time I'd lift it, it hurt and clicked, so from what I've read it could just be my arthritis or it could be a bad case of tendinitis. I just want it to go away!!

In food news, I did okay yesterday. I found a good recipe for strawberry rhubarb bars and they are around 100 cals a piece, so yummy and not horrible for me. My garden is starting to come up and I'll have zucchini, cucumbers, squash, peas, green beans, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, and maybe some corn. I'm so excited that everything is starting. I love getting the fresh stuff and enjoy being out working in the garden. That is a meditation place for me. :)

Can you e-mail me the recipe for your strawberry rhubarb bars? They sound delicious and they are healthier than making a pie.
