“Love shouldn’t hurt, drag you through an emotional roller coaster or leave you feeling like less of a person.” Michelle Hall That is a good quote. A person who loves you will lift you up and make you feel good about yourself. If you want to lose weight, do it for yourself and no one else. Work on building up your self esteem and realize that you have great self worth. Don't let others bring you down. Verbal abuse is toxic. Take care of yourself.

That's emotional abuse. There is no place in a good relationship for name calling. It's uncalled for

That's a really cruel thing to say to someone, I hope you feel better soon.

A person who loves you would NEVER say those things, in anger or other wise. If you are serious about losing weight do it for you and only you and only you. Do take care of yourself.

Cynda, you have to do this for yourself. No matter what anyone else says, you are beautiful...the outside is just a vessel for what really matters, the heart and soul. If your boyfriend really loves you, he won't call you names and he won't try to sabotage your efforts. Tell him this, get him to join you in changing your lifestyle. You can do this, Cynda! BIG HUGS!!!

Do this for yourself! Do this and at the same time it will make you a happier person. Being in control of your own world is a wonderful thing. Don't let him get in the way of your happiness! You are BEAUTIFUL! Don't ever for a second doubt that!

Yes, men have insecurities as well and that is probably why he brings you that junk. I had an abusive exboyfriend who wanted me to diet all the time so I stayed tired and weak so he could scare me into staying put. Its the same abuse but on opposite ends of the spectrum. In order to turn him around, you will have to cater to his self-esteem while you loose the weight.
