I just did my body mass index.

I have to laugh a bit. It still says I am obese, which may be the truth, I don't know.

All I do know is that I've been working out at least three times a week doing cardio and weight training and working my ass off. I've got the best muscle tone I've had since I was in my 20's.

Yet the BMI web site tells me I am obese.

My beer gut is gone, yet the BMI web site sez I am still obese.

I'm going to keep doing what I am doing, but I think that all these labels are useless.

Do you feel good?
Do you like the way you look?
Are you trying to keep it up or improve?

Then you are doing good. That is my opinion, I could be wrong.

BMI isn't always correct. Me and my coach both weigh around 70kilos, and he is 2 cm taller than me, but he is really muscly. My BMI and his are nearly the same, while his body fat is around 10% but mine around 25.
