Eating a bad lunch does not make me a bad person, just a lazy one that didn't want to get out of the car in a thunderstorm!

You're right, you are not a bad person. And, tomorrow you will do better. I almost went out today, but I had a can of soup at work that I could heat up, so I talked myself into not stopping for something bad. Those days when I don't bring my lunch and tell myself I'll get a salad from the store always end up with me going to a drive thru instead.

Yep, I should know better! I need to bring my lunch because when given the choice between a salad and fries, I always pick the darn fries!

Then do a bunch of jumping jacks or marching in place til you cannot do them anymore. You can do that in thunderstorms :-) You'll feel better and have not a whit of guilt for that drive-thru

I do wall squats in my office and lift reams of paper as weights. :)

Re: fries - I swear I know of a way for restaurants to make millions of $$$ - serve french fries individually. I do like them but they're not a really intense must have for me like some foods are. Sometimes though I'd like to have just a couple - maybe 3 fries. If I could order a salad with a lowfat dressing and 3 french fries I'd be in heaven! I'd happily pay for the 3 fries. Now, if I order a small order, I won't stop eating them till they're gone - but if I can limit the amount that arrives I'm in good shape!

Vickie that is a great idea! I could easily eat half an order, just enough to eat a few in between bites of my sandwich. If I would just throw the rest away after I finish the sandwich it'd be great, but no I finish off the box.
