Okay so yesterday I managed to get a walk in while DH was in a drug induced sleep (lol). That helped because he was trying my patience. I am sure he was in pain, but he is not a good patient even when not in pain. I also made a trip to the grocery store and felt starving. I did not give in to anything. Bought myself a rockstar and some pork skins and just sat in the truck for a couple minutes having a quiet snack before heading back home. So all in all did good.

DH says that he feels much better this morning and just as I suspected the joint pain in his elbows is GONE!!! His mouth is feeling much better and he says if it continues like it is then he will not need any pain medicine.

So going to take it a minute at a time again today and just stick to the plan. I may have wings for lunch today while DH is at work since it is soup and soft foods for dinner for the next two weeks.

Have a great day everyone.

Good on you for sitting quietly and taking care of yourself. It's easy to forget.

cyd69 - my husband knows he is a terrible patient and he says as much, but in my mind I think "if you know this why not try hard not to be", but maybe he is already trying hard...lol. Ruth - thanks so much. I am trying to hang in there! Bella - you are so right! It is very easy to forget to take care of ourselves, and it is vital that we do so.
