Okay, I am back. I had a lot of stress to deal with with my dog getting sick to the tune of 3,000 dollar vet bill, the holidays, a death in the family. I gained TEN pounds from Thanksgiving to New Years. However, I am slowly getting back on track. I've lost 7 of those pounds, three more to go and I will be back where I was. I went back to the gym today and did the elliptical for 45 minutes, and then I tried a new experiment. I've never been able to run, and I would so like to. I decided I would try running on the treadmill, a few minutes at a time, until I can work up to being able to run miles. I ran for 3 minutes- not much, I know, but I am so out of shape and I haven't even tried to run in years. I am trying to run 3 minutes a day all week, and then work up to 5 minutes next week, and just keep adding minutes a week at a time and see if I can get some good time together. That is my plan, anyway. Good to be back.
