Because it's easier. Because exercise, watching what you eat, needless guilt, and everything else that goes into dieting and working out takes an effort that we really don't want to do!
You want to slide into that mode for the exact same reason I do, and a billion other dieters do.
The real challenge isn't sticking to the plan, it's overcoming that feeling. You can do this! Don't give up yet!
