aggie95's Journal, 26 November 2013

So I've ordered a John Deere Tracks Tractor from e-bay for my little guy as that is what he wants for Christmas. It's a bit expensive, especially the shipping to get across the border. But what does it matter when it's for your kids and you do it! He wants this and a plow!

It's snowing here today but not staying on the ground. When to for a run at lunch. It was a good run as there was no wind. We did 4.2 km (2.6 mi). Now for some lunch and back to the grind. The combine has come today to my parents farm to take off the corn. So I had to take my little guy over this morning so that he could watch it all day! So after work today, I'll have to run home, change clothes and off to the barn to do some chores!

I hope everyone is having a good day!

He is going to love it!! I love knowing my kids want something special and being able to get it for them. This year my little guy (who's getting not so little at age 8) is dying for the Disney Infinity Game :)

I still remember my favorite "Tonka Truck with a trailer" ..... It was the heavier metal, and I played with it for years. It was sad, when I was a teen, the neighbor kid saw it (it was still in the original box) and I gave it to him. It was less than a week later when I saw my beloved truck flattened like a pancake when this kid's dad run it over in their driveway. It's fun to hear about the snow. It doesn't snow here except in the surrounding mountains. It's cooler here too ...... But the day time temps are still in the 70's. We still haven't turned on our furnace. My morning bike rides (in the upper 40's) leave me a little chilled. Kudos again, on helping out your parents.
