Today was my 2 week post-op appointment. All is healing well and my first fill will be on Jan 20, so until then I have to just keep following my calorie intake so I can continue to lose weight. I watched my friend get her fill at her appointment too - I just know to look the other way when they put that big needle in! But really, not so bad. They said they usually start with about 5 cc's of fluid. My friend was at 8 and still had no restriction (she's had the band over a year), so they put her up to 9.6 cc's today. She will be starting fresh and focused with me now that she should feel the restriction in her band. I'm excited to see how it feels to know you can't eat any more once you hit your limit. Right now I eat tiny portions, but I know I could still eat more if I let myself. But I've been good - very good at following the rules! I think it will pay off and be more rewarding over all! ;)
193.2 lb Lost so far: 21.8 lb.    Still to go: 68.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
