I beginning to understand what everyone is saying about getting more protein, I'll gladly take any suggestions...

Today is Pearl Harbor day.
I have a friend who is half Black and half Japanese
and every December 7th He attacks Pearl Bailey......

You do know what would have happened if it had been three wise WOMEN instead of men, don't you? They would have asked for directions, arrived on time, helped deliver the baby, cleaned the stable, made a casserole, and brought disposable diapers as gifts!

An atheist complained to a Christian friend, "You Christians have your special holidays, such as Christmas and Easter. Jews celebrate their national holidays, such as Hanukkah and Yom Kippur. But we atheists have no recognized national holidays. It's unfair discrimination."
His friend replied, "Why don't you celebrate April first?"

I discovered a magic food, cottage cheese dry curd. Full of protein very low carbs and fat. I add it to everything! last night in a veggie soup. In the morning with my eggs. Tofu is a great alternative to meat too. I eat meat twice a day and sometime I need to take a break lol tofu does the job very well. I marinade it in tamari, sesame oil, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar (or balsamic) and a bit of honey. It's delicious! Good luck Coach and thanks for the jokes!

Actually, the best thing to do is get your protein from many sources. Lean meats, lean dairy, soy, whey, etc.) High protein and high fiber metabolize more slowly than carbs so you feel fuller longer. It also helps you get leaner quicker. Fruits and veggies combined with protein is a good way to go. Add in some whole wheat carbs and you are doing well.

I have fallen for edamame. I think I was scared of it initially - not sure what it was or what to do with it! But they sell it at Sam's Club in microwaveable packs and i put a little soy sauce on it and eat the whole bag. 100 cal, 3fat, 8 protein, 4 fiber

What is everyone saying about Protein Coach? Is it something to do regarding feeling satisfied and sustaining hours at a time without feeling a need for food? I do believe there is something to it but am not sure how it works. Is Avacado a protein? TOWANDA!!!!
