Whoa, website changed...a few things in different places!

Weekend was good. But did overeat. And the last 4 mornings when I've weighed myself, the scale has gone up. I will have to look into what I've been eating and try to tame things.

Found out on Saturday that a friend of mine from high school had past away at the age of 41 from cancer. So sad as she leaves behind a 12 year old son. She was divorced and apparently her son wants to stay with her parents. I pray that things will work out for him as he is a very sweet boy. I went to the visitation last night, funeral is tomorrow. I was in shock at first but now it is real and it is just sad. She found out in Sept. that she had cancer and it had spread quite a bit. She tried to fight it.

Had a nice Christmas in November with the fatherinlaw and his girlfriend. Normally I loathe getting together with my DH father but this time it wasn't too bad. And now they are leaving to go south for the next 4.5 months. I think the 2 glasses of wine that I had helped!! I made a peanut butter pie. It was good, a bit too sweet though.

We helped out on the farm on Saturday. I cleaned out 2 calf pens and then we brought some cows in to the barn to be tied up in stalls. So they needed neck belts pu on. So tons of fun to catch them and then put the neck belts on. A good workout for sure!

So, tonight my little guy and I are going back over to the farm to get some hay ready as the cows now need hay morning and night and there is nothing close by for my dad to grab. My DH has night shift for tonight and tomorrow night.

Have a happy Monday! I know I will try to get back to eating better and definitely go for a run at lunch time!

I feel the same way about my weight. I think have been eating too much salty foods.

Thanks Glen, I appreciate the kind words. Today is the funeral for my friend. You are right that life is precious.
