Well in 2 days I sabotaged all that hard work I put in. After losing 2 lbs. in 2 days, I'm back up 1.5 lbs. this morning. I won't record my weight again until it goes below 184 again this week, because I am determined to do better for the remainder of the week and get that 1.5 lbs. back off and then some!

At first I was really angry with myself. I knew better than to have that 2nd slice of pizza last night (I was full after 1 slice since I had had salad before that), the Pepsi (even if I didn't finish it), and the ice cream at Marble Slab Creamery (though I didn't finish that either). I didn't have time for a workout yesterday, so I really should have known better. I was tempted after seeing that on the scale this morning to just throw my hands up and forget the whole weight loss thing, since I obviously don't want it bad enough and am unwilling to do it.

But after having some time to cool off, I realized that I simply can't give up. Last night when I went to bed and this morning when I woke up, I didn't feel right. My heart was pounding hard off an on, and I didn't sleep well last night. I HAVE to do this. I NEED to get healthy again. My daughter deserves a healthy and energetic mother, and I want to be a good example to her. Last night I was a very poor example when I took her to the ice cream place. It would be one thing if we hadn't done something like that in a long time, but it's a fairly regular thing. I have to do better.

So I'm back on track today. Monday I'm supposed to start the Running Challenge her on FatSecret, so we'll see how that goes. Today's workout is 20 min Core and 40 min Stretch. Maybe I'll try to get in a bike ride and start running again today, too.
