Tried something new tonight. Hubby Dave took me out in the yard and showed me how to cross country ski. Only fell twice. One time I thought I was going to break and ankle getting back up, but I did it!
Just a note...according to my legs we had about 6" of snow so far out there and it is still coming down. Perfect snow for snowmen and cross country skiing. (if you want to get sopping wet when you come in contact with the snow.)

Snow already, oh my I hope you enjoy that stuff. I am just starting to use a blanket. I have no idea what I would do if it snowed. Take care on the skis but have fun. I have skied a few times when I was much much younger it was fun. Had to drive 8 hours to get to the snow!! Not just outside the front door.

Omg that sounds like so much fun! No snow here yet but I'm anxiously awaiting its arrival this year. Playing in the snow burns mega calories! Glad you survived without injury :-)

That sounds like so much fun. I have always wanted to do that but I have never had the chance. it does not snow much in Alabama Georgia and Texas :(

It was more fun than I thought. I am surprised my hubby did not burst out laughing when I almost immediately fell down. Then I was like that lady on the commercial..."I have fallen and I can't get up!" Where was a first alert button when you need them? He patiently coached me through what to do without giving me a physical hand up. Kind of mean...but the second time I popped right back up so he was probably right to do it that way. Damn I hate when he is right! Love you Dave! I was using his boots and skis...so it isn't something we can do together right now.

I live with one who does laugh at me when I do stupid things. It is not smart of him but then again - he is rather challenged when it comes to dealing with other humans - especially women.
