224.4 still gaining weight after I've stopped HCG...yesterday was my first 1200 calorie day...I knew I would fluctuate, but it hurts to see that scale move back up when I worked so hard to get it down. If it goes any higher I have to do a "steak day" meaning fast until dinner and then eat just a steak and a tomato for my meal. Perhaps I added the butter, mayo, and cheese back in too fast? Well I'm going to see if I can't exercise a bit today, perhaps that will help.

Ok, your posts were foreign to me so I did a bit of googling to try and understand the HGC diet. Are you still following one of the phases but upped the calorie intake? I'm thinking if you are taking in more calories than what they tell you to then it will make your weight fluctuate a bit more and take a bit longer to stabilize since your body is storing what it can incase you go into starvation mode. Could that be it?

I'm on phase 3 (no more shots) so I upped my calories up to 1200 (that is where I'm supposed to be), but I think I added in too many different and new foods. They tell you to go slow the first week off of HCG, but I've been dying to try some new foods..the food list is sooooo limited while on the diet I was tired of eating those foods. I hope it is just my body trying to stabilize itself. Like I said if I go up anymore than I will do a steak day to fix it. I wish I would've never done this stupid diet.

Ah, I see, the website I was looking at must have been different. Don't lose hope! You seem like a very determined person so I'm sure you'll get over this hurdle. And if they have a steak day just for this, then you know what you are going through must be normal.

Thanks guys...I need the encouragement...the last month was soooo hard. Follow the strict rules of the diet really limited my food, energy, and social life. I'm ready to get back to being me and eat, exercise, and socialize :)

I'm so glad you are back on regular food!! I personally think its just your bodies reaction to getting a good meal now!! Don't panic!!! Even if that scale goes up, give it a little time!! You have to go a little slow, because you have in effect been starving. Your body doesn't know about the diet you were on. It just knows you only gave it 500 calories a day, and now it is getting 1200!! Soooo....it is going to store it!! Be patient. Once your energy returns, keep eating, and start exercising!!! Watch your portions, eat smaller meals more frequently, and you should be on your way back down! Keep up the good attitude and good work!!

I know you guys are right...there is no way I could be gaining fat...I haven't eaten the 3500 calories to do it...lol. Water weight and my body trying to figure out what is going on is what is happening...hopefully it will get better next week. I expected this fluctuation ,but it still sucks to see it...my inches are the same..so i"m good :)
